Job Title: Truck Fabricator Technician
Reports to: Fabricator Team Leader / Director of Operations
Department: Operations
Job Summary: Responsible for custom fabrication of customer’s trucks.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Duties/Responsibilities:
Support daily functions including, but not limited to:
- Support all daily functions of the shop
- Fabricate, modify, and install truck bodies and equipment to chassis
- Utilize tools such as:
- Welders
- Torches
- Plasma cutters
- Shears
- Punch presses
- Drill press
- Metal cutting saws
- Fabricate parts as needed
- Weld ferrous and nonferrous metals using MIG or Arc (electrode) techniques
- Other duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization
Required Skills/Abilities:
- General comprehension of, and experience in, the truck build up process
- General understanding of truck components
- Experience with Welding/Fabrication
- Ability to work alone with minimal or no supervision
- Working knowledge of basic office software (such as Microsoft Office)
- Working knowledge of company software and procedures
- Great attitude and ability to work with others
- Good communication skills, written and verbal
- Attention to detail and good organizational skills
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current regular driver’s license to move our vehicles
- Forklift operator certification
- Overhead crane operator certification
Physical Requirements (representative but not exhaustive):
- Sitting, crouching, kneeling
- Manual finger dexterity
- Heavy lifting; 30 pounds or more
- Twisting, bending, reaching, and stretching
- Long periods of standing
- Exposure to shop noise and dust
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts and vehicles

Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen (including THC/marijuana), physical, and background check.
- Must have a current drivers license to move our vehicles.
- Must be able to work 7am-5pm shifts Monday through Friday and 7am-11am shifts two Saturdays a month.
