Administrative Assistant – Custom Home Builder
Location: Grand Rapids
Employment Type: Full-Time
We’re looking for a dependable and organized Administrative Assistant to join our custom home building team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of tasks, takes initiative, and keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter and organize bills, receipts, and other office records
- Keep the office clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Order office supplies and manage deliveries
- Take detailed notes during client meetings and job planning sessions
- Record and organize homeowner selections for finishes and materials
- Assist with permit applications and documentation
- Monitor company emails and phone calls, routing messages appropriately
- Provide general administrative support to management and field teams
- Month End Reports
Qualifications:
- Previous office or administrative experience preferred (construction experience a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient with basic computer programs (Microsoft Office, etc.)
- Quickbooks and Quickbooks Time/Payroll
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to manage multiple tasks and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
