Caregiver - Part-time
Searching for a Community Living Service provider in the East Grand Rapids area to assist an independent female with accessing the community and with some daily living tasks such as grocery shopping, community access, socialization, cooking and laundry.
Compensation:
$17.50-$19 depending on expereince and skills
Hours:
Thursday 11 AM – 3 PM
Responsibilities:
– Assist individual with daily living activities such as meal planning & grocery shopping
– Provide emotional support and companionship
– Organize and participate in recreational activities and community outings
– Communicate effectively with the individual, her family and medical professionals
– Keep accurate records of daily activities and progress notes
– Must enjoy cooking and gospel music
Requirements:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Previous experience working with individuals with special needs is preferred
– First Aid certification (will be provided)
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping others
– Reliable transportation (must have personal vehicle to transport individual to activities)
– Drivers licsence and clean driving record
