The Opportunity
Responsible for timekeeping system and selected payroll functions. Full-time (32-40 hours per week), hourly/non-exempt position which reports to the Senior Manager of Compensation Administration and works closely with Talent Services. Additional hours may be required during certain times of year.

What You’ll Do
- Responsible for the set up and ongoing maintenance of profiles, policies, workflows, and notifications within the Timekeeping System. Play a key role in any implementation or upgrade to applicable systems.
- Make sure all timesheets and time off requests are submitted and approved in a timely manner. Review timesheets for accuracy and consistency. Follow up on questions or missing allocations and notes.
- Work collaboratively with Senior Manager of Compensation Administration and Talent Services to ensure accurate and timely communication to new, existing, and exiting employees regarding payroll and benefit matters; meet with new hires and new supervisors on Timekeeping requirements.
- Responsible for documentation of procedures for the Payroll and Timekeeping Systems.
- Track cost center allocations and run reports quarterly or as requested. Prepare and enter into general ledger.
- Post invoices into the general ledger.
- Maintain Paid Time Off schedules and track exceptions. Review year end accruals for accuracy and modify accordingly.
- Compile data for compensation reviews.
- Process compensation letters.
- Track independent contractor payments and assist with gathering data for workers’ compensation and general liability audits.
- Assist with various correspondence and forms related to benefit plans.
- Assist with distribution of open enrollment materials, general mailings and correspondence.
- Prepare document packets for new hire benefit meetings.
- Assist with the distribution of plan documents.
- Complete employment verifications and make sure authorizations are provided.
- Assist with financial reporting and other special projects as requested.
- Assist with processing of payroll related transactions such as 401(k) contributions, Health Savings Account contributions, and various postings.
- Provide backup for various payroll processes to allow for coverage in absence of others in the department.
- Assist in gathering information of actual costs and budgeted costs for various cost centers.
- Assist with regulatory reporting such as ACA reporting, Forms 5500 and required benefit plan audits, compliance testing, etc.
- Perform other administrative duties, as assigned, and assist with organization of files and electronic documents, including personnel files.
What You’ll Bring
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
- Two years of experience in a related field.
- Strong attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality.
- Uncompromised commitment to the highest level of confidentiality in all aspects of job responsibilities.
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to initiate, prioritize, follow through on projects, work independently, and be self-directed.
- Demonstrates a professional demeanor.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Must be able to open standard and lateral file drawers that require push/pull force.
- Must be able to lift/transport boxes of approximately thirty (30) pounds, stoop, bend, and climb steps and stairs.
