Job Description

Administrative / Office Management / Clerical - Full-time

Demonstrates ability to engage consumers in a welcoming, hopeful, empathetic manner regardless of disability or phase of recovery.Prepare Team reports as requested. Answers both general and specific inquiries regarding departmental procedures, some of which may require detailed interpretation of departmental policies and procedures. Operate a variety of office machines, such as personal computers, typewriters, adding machines, and calculators. Ensures that paperwork is maintained in accordance with Medicaid and Department of Community Health guidelines, as well as Easterseals policies and procedures. General filing of Team paperwork. Collaborate on special Team projects as assigned. Demonstrates knowledge of principles of trauma informed care. Willingness to support and assist consumers with trauma related issues.

Requirements:

  1. Be a high school graduate or have a certificate of successful completion of the General Educational Development Test.
  2. Have two (2) years of responsible full-time clerical experience.
  3. Excellent customer service skills.
  4. Ability to make general decisions in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
  5. Knowledge of modern office equipment, practices, and procedures.
  6. Knowledge of modern record keeping management and operations.
  7. Knowledge of grammar, spelling and punctuation.
  8. Ability to follow complex oral and written instructions.
  9. Computer literacy and competency with Microsoft Office Professional package including demonstrated proficiency in Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  10. Must possess a knowledge and understanding of co-occurring disorders (mental health & substance abuse).
