Part-time Beautician

We are looking for a Beautician to serve our residents’ cosmetic needs one to two days a week. Beautician responsibilities include haircuts, color treatments, hair sets, permanent color treatment, and permanents.

If you’re interested in helping older adults look and feel good about themselves, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will increase our residents’ quality of life through using your gifts in cosmetology.

Responsibilities:

• Book appointments
• Bring residents from their room to the Beauty Shop
• Provide requested cosmetology services
• Be patient and kind to our residents
• Make sure our working area is clean and equipment is sterilized at all times
• Report services provided for billing

Skills:

• Licensed Cosmetologist
• Hands-on experience with services offered (knowledge of how to “set” a resident’s hair is a plus!
• Ability to provide personalized services based on each client’s requirements
• High school diploma

Compensation and Hours:

Position is a contracted position. Compensation is based on a schedule of fee per service. Variable schedule with some flexibility. Work 5-10 hours/week (one day a week).
