Job Description

Security - Full-time

The Executive Protection Administrator is an integral part of a dedicated and highly skilled team, responsible for providing outstanding customized service to our clients.  Maintaining a high level of client satisfaction is critical to the success of this position.  The individual in this role will be responsible for providing security and administrative services for the Principals and their assets; and administering the necessary activities to ensure the personal security, privacy, and confidentiality of the Principals.

 

REPORTS TO: Director of Executive Protection

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Security Activities:

·     Responsible for the safety of Principals, including personal security, privacy, and confidentiality of business and personal matters.

·     Observe, identify, and handle all situations which are unwanted, unnecessary, and/or threatening to the Principals.

·     Investigate threats against the Principals; assess risk and mitigate threats on a consistent basis.

·     Respond to emergencies and render aid as able.

·     Systemically monitor early-warning detection systems, security alarms, and cameras to identify and resolve security risks.

·     Perform security advances of businesses, events, and personal travel locations to ensure the safety of the Principals as requested.

·     Operate motor vehicles in a safe and legal manner; securely transport Principals and assets.

·     Maintain Security and Principal vehicle fleet.

·     Participate in periodic training on security measures and skills.

·     Develop and execute security plans for large scale Principal events.

·     Maintain life support and medical supply inventories; maintain, service, and keep protective equipment updated.

·     Complete other duties as assigned.

 

Administrative:

·     Coordinate activities, transportation, changes in travel plans, and other requests of the Principals.

·     Identify and plan routes to and from a variety of points of destinations, e.g., meetings, conventions, travel, etc., and select the appropriate means of travel.

·     Coordinate a variety of services and cultivate relationships with local, state, and federal police, fire, and medical emergency agencies as required.

·     Coordinate necessary security coverage per destination or activity needs.

·     Handle and account for cash transactions for Principals’ personal purchases or purchases for necessary equipment, staff, and/or security services.

·     Work with others to secure property and equipment during extended trips to ensure Principals’ security.

·     Work effectively with other staff and corporate employees as required.

 

Physical Security Technology:

·     Plan and direct the installation of security systems and generators to provide protection of the physical environment from fire, theft, vandalism, and all illegal and unauthorized activity.

·     Oversee security projects; make recommendations; coordinate acquisitions and replace security devices and equipment.

·     Evaluate, utilize, and oversee outside vendor resources relating to security systems.

·     Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance program for all security systems.

·     Ensure security technology deployment standards are being met and adhered to on a global basis.

·     Research new technology, working with internal stakeholder to determine if new technology should be added to the technology roadmap.

·     Develop a security technology roadmap, including deployment of new technologies as well as retirement of those that have reached the end of their life.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

·     Domestic and international security experience preferred.

·     Bachelor’s degree preferred.

·     Law enforcement, security, or military experience preferred.

·     Previous investigation experience preferred.

·     Accredited executive protection program training preferred.

·     Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

·     First Aid/CPR/EMT Certification, or the ability to obtain upon hire, required.

·     Ability to obtain Concealed Weapon Permit required.

·     Possession of valid U.S. passport and driver’s license required.

·     Must be highly flexible, stress-tolerant, and motivated, with an ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.

·     Position requires a person of highest personal integrity who is well organized, flexible in work schedule requirements, and able to handle multiple projects and situations calmly and effectively.

·     Must be responsible, dedicated, dependable, and self-directed; positive in attitude; and one who demonstrates pride in service which he/she provides.

·     Domestic and international travel required.

·     Working evenings, weekends, and holidays required.

·     Flexibility to work an ever-changing schedule and be available at a moment’s notice.

·     The Principals’ privacy and security are of critical importance; must have an uncompromised commitment to the highest level of confidentiality and sensitivity to privacy in all aspects of job responsibilities at all times.

 

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

·     Ability to work at a physically demanding pace at times.

·     Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds to a maximum height of six (6) feet; occasional lifting to eighty (80) pounds.

·     Ability to remain standing for lengthy periods of time; climb steps and stairs; stoop, bend, and kneel; push/pull.

·     Ability to load and unload equipment and supplies.

·     Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.

·     Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions as needed.
