Job Description:
We are looking for energetic, hardworking, experienced servers for weekend events. If you like variety, change of scenery, and the fast pace of food service, we want you! We offer $20/hr + tips and weekly pay!
We need seasonal Event Servers to assist with weekend events. Typical shifts are Friday, Saturday and occasionally Sunday nights, from the months of April-November. If you are looking for part time work to make some extra income, we encourage you to apply. Previous serving experience required. Banquet experience is a bonus!

Catered Creations, Inc. is a family-owned, off-premise catering company. Our family has been serving Grand Rapids and the surrounding areas with imaginative foods, quality ingredients, and reliable service for over 36 years. We’ll cater any event from corporate meetings to grad parties to weddings, and everything in between. We’ll even bring ‘the kitchen’ to our clients & their guests!
Responsibilities:
· Provide excellent customer service
· Set up the dining room as instructed by Banquet Captain to include linen, service-ware, glassware, etc.
· Set up of buffets when needed as instructed by Banquet Captain
· Learn the menu & be able to explain ingredients & preparation methods
· Serve & replenish food & beverages to guest tables
· Assist Back of House if needed
· Promptly bus guest tables
· Assist in event clean up
· Maintain a clean & effective workspace
· Assist in unloading & loading of catering equipment for off-premise events
Qualifications:
· Able to lift/carry at least 30 pounds
· Able to work in a fast-paced environment
· Able to work on feet for 8 to 10-hour shifts
· Able to work nights & weekends (Friday & Saturday availability is mandatory). Typical shifts are about 6 hours in length and finish by 10:30 pm at the latest.
· Reliable transportation
· Valid Driver’s License (not required, but preferred)
Compensation & Hours
· $20/hr
· Tip share
· Same week pay! Always get paid within 2-4 days of working! (on following Tuesday each week!)
· 10-25 hours per week dependent on employee’s availability
