SCHOOL INFORMATION
NorthPointe Christian Schools is an independent Christian school formed in 1972 serving over 1,000 preschool through high school students from over 120 churches. NPC’s pairs academic excellence with a strong, Christ-centered environment to reach our mission of “equipping students to impact their world for Jesus Christ.”
PURPOSE
The purpose of this position is to build belonging in partnership with teachers and families fostering a climate for students of various gifts and abilities to achieve their God given potential. This is a full-time position.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of a Bachelor of Arts in Education with related endorsements; commitment to further education in the field of inclusive education. Bilingual in Spanish and English, advanced high proficiency level.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Must demonstrate a growth mindset in believing that each student has the potential to succeed and displaying a commitment to ongoing training and professional development.

Working with Student Union Coordinator and Spanish Immersion Coordinator to support classroom teachers to meet the needs of students who have qualified for intervention support.

Provide quality tier two and tier three instruction and materials for students who have qualified for intervention.

Communicate regularly with Student Union Coordinator and Spanish Immersion Coordinator and collaborate with classroom teachers to provide classroom support and pull out intervention.

Be able to administer reading and math assessments to individuals and classrooms.

Be willing to assist with progress monitoring and maintaining student intervention data.

Communicate regularly with parents to nurture a supportive and cooperative relationship between home and school. Respond to parent communication as soon as possible but no later than twenty-four hours.

Model commitment to professional development through participation and sharing with the team in a minimum of two opportunities per year and collaboration with other NPC and All Belong inclusion personnel.
