The Director will be responsible for the supervision of all Dock personnel, volunteers, and students , and all applicants must be committed to serving Jesus Christ with demonstrated evidence of servant leadership. He/or she must demonstrate a commitment to promote a work environment that values diversity and equality, as well as having respectful relationships with others. He/or she must have the ability to lead and build support for urban ministry and will work under the management of the Dock’s Board of Directors. He/ or she must be able to lead a team and have the ability to develop team skills in staff and volunteers. He/ or she is expected to lead fundraising initiatives, including overseeing grant applications. The Director is required to work directly with students in the primary age range of Middle School to High School in after-school and summer programs and will oversee volunteer interaction with students. Prerequisite to apply includes: a Bachelor’s Degree in Youth Ministry or equivalent.
