Job Title: Director Music Ministries Grace Bible Church in Grandville MI is seeking a part-time Director Music Ministries. Grace Bible Church was established in 1933 as a local fellowship of believers who have one final authoritative standard for faith and conduct – the Bible. Grace is independent and non-denominational, embracing the biblical teachings of historically confessing evangelicals. Our understanding of the basic Bible truths aligns with what might be summarized in the ancient Creeds and in the New Hampshire Confession, and the First London Confession (1646).

Job Description

Worship and Word are at the core of what we do at Grace Bible Church. Exalting the name of Christ and going deep into His Word are what define our weekly worship services. We do that by bringing together the doctrinal richness of traditional hymns with the fresh expressions of contemporary worship. The Director Music Ministries is responsible for the coordination, administration, and supervision of the music ministries and is also responsible for stimulating the genuine individual and corporate worship of God at Grace Bible Church.

 · Plan and lead music for all worship services including special services

· Lead the choir and any ensembles, including praise teams

· Coordinate and maintain schedules for all music rehearsals

Qualifications

· Meet the biblical qualifications for deacon (I Tim 3.8-13, Acts 6.3-7)

· Agree with the Grace Bible Church Articles of Faith and Constitution

· Strong personal walk with God

· Demonstrate a call by God to serve in worship ministry

· Support Grace Bible Church philosophy of ministry for worship

· Significant musical skill and knowledge plus the ability to work with our instrumentalists, vocalists, and tech team

· Ability in choral directing required

· Undergraduate degree required or equivalent experience

· 5+ years of experience preferred
