FMM seeks a passionate and experienced Director of Development to seize opportunities for ministry by raising the funds necessary to accomplish our mission and vision. We cultivate mutually beneficial relationships with diverse stakeholders in communities and counties throughout Michigan.
The FMM Director of Development will be responsible for developing and implementing annual plans to raise funds and increase organization-wide fundraising capacity. They will champion jail ministry and connect supporters to our mission as we facilitate rehabilitation and proclaim salvation through Jesus Christ. The successful candidate must be relational, careful with details, and comfortable meeting personally with major donors in a spirit of Christian hospitality.
Forgotten Man Ministries (FMM) is a growing Christian nonprofit that restores men and women in Michigan County Jails. Founded in 1966, we are a biblically-based, chaplain-led, volunteer ministry. We serve in partnership with local sheriffs in 34 counties with approximately 50 staff and over 2000 volunteers gathered from local churches. We steward a $2 million-dollar budget on behalf of nearly 5000 donors.
