General Labor - Full-time
Centrie Concrete Cutting & Drilling, LLC is looking for both entry-level operator assistants/trainees and experienced cutters to join our team. We need candidates who are team players, have a positive attitude, and are flexible. These are full-time positions with inside/outside work year-round on a variety of construction project sites. This is your chance to learn a valuable trade as we will train qualified applicants. Due to the nature of the work, the work hours vary. The regular work week includes the hours from Monday at 5:00 am to Saturday at 12:00 am (midnight). Some Sunday work may be required as needed for critical jobs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Operate (or assist with operating) concrete slab, core drilling, or wall saw cutting equipment
• Vacuum slurry and remove concrete when required with hand removal, handcarts, and/or using other methods
• Load and unload cargo and safely operate vehicles including box trucks
• Communicate with customer contact on site, properly track time and document job details on work orders
• Inspect truck before and after trip
• Maintain equipment and/or vehicles, report equipment needs and repairs
• Train other employees as needed
• Understand safety procedures and utilize proper PPE
• Report any issues or incidents to manager/supervisor
• Other tasks as assigned by manager/supervisor
Requirements:
• Construction experience (for operator assistants) and/or experience and proficiency (for experienced operators) operating diamond or demolition tools: wall saw, core drill, slab saw, handsaws, ring saws and/or chainsaws
• Must possess a valid chauffeur or CDL driver’s license and have a good driving history
• Pass required pre-employment health screenings, safety training modules, and background checks
• Ability to work varied hours during work days/nights/weekends or out of town if necessary
• Adhere to all safety rules and regulations
• Must have reliable transportation to drive to Alto/Clarksville shop
• Must be physically able to perform work: carry equipment and tools as required to perform the job

Pay for assistants/trainees: starting at $22.00 per hour, plus overtime, depending on experience.
Pay for experienced operators: $60,000+ negotiable annual salary, plus overtime, depending on experience.
