Administrative / Office Management / Clerical - Full-time

Interim Healthcare of West Michigan is adding a full-time Billing Assistant to our corporate team in Grand Rapids


In this role, you will provide exceptional administrative support to our billing team while learning all aspects of patient/client billing and collections for designated branches, including performing the billing function, ensuring timely payment, collections, and regular follow-up. This is an ideal entry level job, allowing for career growth and mentorship.

Billing Assistant Essential Skills

  • Answer and direct multi-line calls
  • Assist Billers with various tasks to help streamline the billing and collections process
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Provide strong attention to details 
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Effectively manage a consistent workload
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment

Billing Assistant Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prior administrative support experience preferred
  • Prior customer service experience preferred
  • Must have a positive attitude, fun personality, and a great sense of humor (seriously)
