Building/Construction - Full-time
Learn the art of naturalistic hardscaping that compliments Michigan naturalistic landscaping. This trade requires hard labor, no doubt. But the long-lasting impact gives satisfaction and purpose that outlasts a lifetime. Learn to:
-
measure a site for estimating
-
measure materials for assembly and installation
-
prepare a site for work and plan layout
-
plan materials by selecting beautiful and quality materials fit for the site
-
excavate sites with precision
-
operate machinery
-
adjust grading
-
cut stone and brick
-
place large rock materials
-
create pondless water features, firepits, boulder walls, patios, walkways, etc.

review design prints to determine materials and machinery
-
select bonding agents and sealants for function and beauty
-
remove damaged materials and repair
-
perform work safely and sustainably
-
perform work with precision, pride, and efficiency for the benefit of clients

Of Note: Seasonal (March – December). Off-season work may become available.
Pay & Benefits:

$18.50 – $20.50 / hour, commensurate with experience
