Ada Bible’s COVID-19 Response

March 25, 2020 9:20 AM Update

Dear Ada Bible Church Family,

We take the care of our local community and the health of our Ada Bible Church family very seriously. To help prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our community, Ada Bible Church has moved all weekend services to an online environment, and all in-person gatherings are postponed through Monday, April 13, at which point we will reevaluate.

This is in accordance with Michigan’s Executive order 2020-21, which is a temporary requirement to suspend all activities through April 13 that are not necessary to sustain or protect life.

We desire to do our part to (1) suppress the spread of COVID-19, (2) prevent the state’s health care system from being overwhelmed, (3) allow time for the production of critical test kits, ventilators, and personal protective equipment, and (4) avoid needless deaths. We encourage everyone to remain at home or in their place of residence to the maximum extent feasible.

Weekend Services

We invite you to join us for weekend worship services at Ada Bible Church Online during any of our regular service times (Saturdays at 5:30 pm or Sundays at 9 am & 11 am). If you miss the weekend service at one of these specific times, watch it later at

We encourage you to connect to our current sermon series, The Land Between. This series is a direct response to our current situation. We pray it is an encouragement to you and your family.

Other Ministries/Gatherings

All in-person gatherings will be postponed or transitioned to online environments through Monday, April 13, including the following:

Moving Forward

We will continue to monitor the situation in this rapidly changing environment. Our latest information will be posted at as conditions develop. Please stay tuned for any updates in our response.

This can be an unsettling time for many. In times like these, it is good to be reminded of the Apostle Paul’s words to the Philippian church, “The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” We want to pray for you and your family and invite you to reach out through our digital bulletin with any prayer requests. We also ask that you join us in praying for those impacted by COVID-19 in our community, as well as those who are working tirelessly to curb the spread of this virus.

We are grateful we are still a church community no matter how we gather. As we join together through our online environment throughout our city, may our Gracious God be pleased to continue to shape our lives through the life-changing message of Jesus.

Prayers to all,
Ada Bible Church
