Course 1: SHARING YOUR FAITH WITH CONFIDENCE
Sharing your faith with those around you can be intimidating. It is hard to feel confident in sharing Jesus in a compelling way and often we fear getting it wrong. But it doesn’t have to be that way.
In this 3-week class you will learn an easy 3-step technique to share your faith with those around you in an authentic and engaging way. This course is based off our shorter 2-hour training and offers deeper learning opportunities.

- Lesson 3: Stories that Connect
Instructed by Pastor Kevin Baker and Director Amelia Rhodes, you will have a time to learn and to practice in a comfortable class setting.

INSTRUCTOR BIOS
Pastor Kevin Baker
Kevin serves as the campus pastor at the Knapp Street Campus and has been on staff at Ada Bible Church for 19 years. He is married to Kari, and they have two adult daughters. Kevin loves life’s journey with Jesus and seeing people meet him for the first time.
Amelia Rhodes
Amelia Rhodes serves as the Director of Discipleship Resources and has been on staff at Ada Bible Church for 5 years. She’s also the co-host for the Beyond the Weekend Podcast and writes for the Beyond the Weekend devotional. Amelia is married to Kedron and they have two young adult children. Amelia is studying for her MA in Christian Studies at Southeastern Seminary. She loves helping people grow in their love for Jesus and God’s Word.

Course 2: BEDROCK OF BELIEF
Exploring Christian History
The history of the Christian faith is a rich tapestry of cultures, kingdoms, suffering and victory. It is the foundation of the modern church and understanding that history helps us more deeply experience the truth of Scripture.
In this 3- week class you will learn more about the first Christians, explore the highs and lows of Christian doctrine and debate, and understand the events that led up to the Reformation and its impacts on our faith today.
Classes include:
- Lesson 1: Ancient Foundations – Journey through the first 400 years of Christianity and explore how early Christians wrestled with recognizing scripture, who Jesus is, and what it meant to follow him.
- Lesson 2: Freedom & Folly – Explore A 1000-year journey through highs and lows for the Christian faith and the church. Learn the benefits we can gain in our modern day from understanding those trials and victories.
- Lesson 3: Formation – Investigate the events leading up to the Reformation and beyond as we look at the last 600 years of the church and gain a better understanding of the church in a modern age.
Instructed by Stephen Lewis, Ph.D., Director of Spiritual Formation at Ada Bible Church, this class will help you better understand the history and importance of the Christian faith.

Stephen Lewis, Ph.D.
Stephen Lewis, Ph.D. serves as the Director of Spiritual Formation and has been on staff at Ada Bible Church for 10 years. He’s a co-host for the Beyond the Weekend Podcast and provides theological oversight for the teaching and writing teams. He has his Ph.D. in World Religions from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Stephen is married to Jaclyn and they have two children. He loves to travel, bike, and spend time with his family.
