Administration
We occasionally need office help for big mailings and special projects. If you would like to be on this contact list, please contact Rita Corlett at 622.3101 or email.
Facility Care
We need several volunteer teams and leaders to help take care of our facility and grounds.
- Adopt-A-Room
Individuals and groups at Ada Bible Church can choose a room or area to "adopt" to keep clean on a regular basis. We will provide a leader, train you, and provide the supplies. For more information contact Molly Carlstrom at 622.3114 or email. - Lawn Care
We want the grounds of Ada Bible Church to be pleasant and inviting to our attenders, while presenting the beauty of God's creation and what He has given us. Areas of need are lawn mowing, spring and fall clean-up, and flower bed maintenance. Contact Molly Carlstrom at 622.3114 or email. - Seasonal Décor
We have a team that works with our Facilities Director and Venue Coordinators to change out seasonal decorations throughout the year. If you love to decorate, this is the ministry for you. Contact: Felicia Betts at 622.3118 or email.
Children's Ministry / Discovery Village
(birth-5th grade)
Our ministry goal is to help parents develop their children into followers of Jesus who are growing toward full devotion to Christ. Each age level meets in a large group for teaching and worship and also in a small group for study and discussion. There are many opportunities to serve in this ministry. Coffee Bar
We desire to create an atmosphere of community by serving snacks and coffee during weekend services. Many volunteers and coordinators are needed. Contact Sarah Spinniken at 622.3157 or email.
Greeters
We want to give a warm welcome to our weekend service guests and regular attenders. The way we present ourselves at the front door will have an effect on how our guests perceive Christ and His people. Contact: Wendell Christoff 581.1104.
Information Center
The information centers are one of the first places our guests pass when they enter the building and provide a central place where they can find out general church information, order sermon CDs, find lost items, and pick up ministry event calendars and brochures. To serve Saturdays, call Sarah Spinniken at 622.3157 and to serve Sundays, call Deanne Boverhof at 617.9304.
Student Ministries/LifeLine (grades 6-12)
Our goal is to help each student develop as disciples of Christ through intentional recreation, relationships, Bible teaching and fellowship in small groups. Large group teaching and worship is also offered. Small group leaders are needed. (Interview and background check required.) Contact Penny Waller 622.3159 or email.
Meals Ministry
We can show love and care for our attenders who are not yet connected to a small group by making and delivering a meal when they have a new baby, an illness, or a family crisis. If you would like to make a meal, or know someone who needs one, contact Jean Ballance 481.8233. (This ministry also occasionally provides refreshments at mid-size events.)
Music Ministry
Our purpose is to lead our attenders in genuine praise and worship through music. We encourage praise and worship as a lifestyle and seek to raise up quality musicians. As a team, we provide community that produces a healthy atmosphere for spiritual growth toward developing individuals and leaders. For an audition call Andy Ferris 622.3107 or email.
PrayerLink
Ada Bible Church PrayerLink is the ministry of sharing prayer requests within our church family. Follow the links if you have a prayer request or would like to be added to the email list to pray.
Special Events
Join the on-call team that helps coordinate special events and all church celebrations. This team also provides hospitality and food service for funerals at Ada Bible Church. To get on the list to serve, contact Sarah Spinnken at 622.3157 or email.
Technical Arts
This ministry is committed to meeting the audio/visual needs of the church. This team is responsible for lighting, sound, and visual projection for Sunday services, children's programming, and other ministry sponsored events at Ada Bible Church. Ushers
Our purpose is to provide an atmosphere of hospitality by helping Ada Bible Church attenders find a seat as they enter the auditorium for a service. It is important for our attenders to feel welcome and cared for. To serve call Chris Anton 245.9048.
