What should I expect when I visit for the first time?
We want your visit to be to be a stress free, enjoyable experience, so here is a brief overview of what to expect at Ada Bible Church, regardless of which campus you attend.
When you arrive you will be greeted at the front door by our friendly volunteers who will help direct you to one of our information centers. There you may ask questions and get directions to one of our worship areas.
If you have kids (ages birth through 5th grade), ask for a Welcome Center where you can register for our children’s program, Discovery Village, available during all services.
Grades 6-8, Junior High LifeLine, meet during weekend services through the school year. High school students, Senior High LifeLine, are encouraged to attend the main service.
When you enter the Auditorium or one of our video venues, you will be given a bulletin which is a great tool containing the order of service, upcoming events and opportunities, and sermon-related content (called Beyond the Weekend). An usher can help you find a seat. The service will consist of music, followed by welcome, prayer, and announcements.
The music at Ada Bible Church has a contemporary feel (drums, guitars, keyboard, and vocalists.) The mission of our Worship Arts ministry is to use the tool of music to encourage a lifestyle of worship. Our music teams lead worship out of hearts that long to glorify God.
The teaching pastor will give a Bible-based message relevant to daily life. The message will last 35-40 minutes. We generally end the service with prayer and occasionally song.
As soon as we dismiss, you can pick up your kids from their classrooms and then stay around and enjoy some coffee and cookies as you get to know some people.
The Information Centers in the front entrances have welcome packs, calendars of events for all of our ministries, and lots of other information. Don’t forget to visit one of the friendly volunteers there!
