I recently read the portion of scripture where Jesus states that He is the Way, the Truth and the Life.  And, not to be irreverent, but i thought to myself “so what?” I was actually asking myself “so, how are you going to respond?” 

Well, if Jesus is the Way, then I’m going to follow.  If he’s the Truth, then I’ll believe.  And if He’s the Life, then I want to live like he’s the only air to breathe.

This is an unfinished song and exists only as a chorus.  But when I shared it with the other songwriters, they really liked the melody and lyrics and thought we should still find a way to record what we had. I thought this was an interesting way to present my answer.  Corporate statements of faith have always been a part of the church’s history. I wanted to add a small, humble voice to that canon of confessions.
