Special Needs

Jesus said, "Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me." -MARK 9:37 NIV

Our desire at Ada Bible Church is to encourage all children to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

In the Special Needs Ministry, our goal is to create a safe, loving, and enjoyable environment that meets the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of each child.  We accomplish this by establishing an ongoing relationship with each student and their family; working together to meet the specific needs of each individual.

Our volunteers teach about the love of God through play, crafts, story time, and singing.  Students are included in the Discovery Village programs as much as possible.  This is a deliberate process, taking into consideration the needs of the child, parental input and pairing them up with a special friend who can be there to assist them during the service.

Amomos – (without defect)
Ephesians 1.4 “For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight.”

Amomos is a group for parents of special needs children that meets the third Monday of each month from 7 – 8:30 p.m. in the Second Floor Lounge for a time of encouragement, sharing, and support.  Childcare is available and registration is encouraged.

If you have a heart to help these children and can spend one hour each Sunday morning to help them experience God's love, contact Sally Brown at 622-3161 or email .
