Knapp Street Campus

Located on the north side of Grand Rapids, Michigan, halfway between Rockford and downtown, our Knapp Street Campus of Ada Bible Church is close to Highway 96, East Beltline Avenue and Knapp Street Corner.

Completed in 2012, this campus has two venues. The Auditorium seats about 500 people with live music and a video feed to the weekend teaching. The Loft seats about 100 with both video feed for music and teaching.

Knapp Street Campus Service Times

NORTH SATELLITE

We love to watch God working at Ada Bible. We continue to experience health and growth with our ministries and at our campuses.

So much growth—we’re opening a NORTH SATELLITE October 8!

What is a satellite? A satellite is:

– video worship and preaching
– a slice of children’s ministry
– volunteer driven

We are excited the NORTH SATELLITE will create space for people north of Grand Rapids to grow in their relationship with God AND create space at our Knapp Street Campus in the weekend services and children’s ministry.

Ministries

Participating in any of our many ministries is a great way to get connected to the people and mission of Ada Bible Church. There is something for everyone – a place to connect with others, discover what it means to be a follower of Christ and serve our community.

Knapp Street Campus FAQs

Everyone has questions. Here are some of the most frequently asked questions we receive. If these don’t answer one you might have, please reach out to us via email.

  • What do you have for my children and students?

Discovery Village Children’s Ministry serves children from birth through grade 5 each weekend and at each campus. Find more information about Children’s Ministry here. Save some time on Sunday and register your child here before your first visit.

We have Student Ministries for grades 6–12 called Lifeline that meets on Sundays (high school) and Wednesdays (middle school) September–May. We invite those students to join their parents during worship each weekend. Click here to connect to Lifeline. North Satellite students meet at Knapp Street Campus.

  • What should I expect?

From the moment you arrive to when you drive away, we hope you find us a warm and welcoming place where you can discover God and his community. You can expect warm drinks (coffee and tea) and cookies, as well as a friendly greeting and helpful assistance each weekend. Each service during our weekend experience lasts about 70 minutes where we sing songs and listen to a message from a pastor. We have children’s programming for birth through 5th graders.

  • What should I wear?

Come dressed comfortably. Some people wear shorts and t-shirts. Others wear dresses and suits. We are more concerned that you come as you are rather than if you look your “Sunday Best”.

  • What style of worship music can I expect?

With a blend of modern worship, originals and hymns, we celebrate, sing and express a heart of gratitude to a loving God who desires to meet with us. Song lyrics are on the screen and everyone is welcome to engage with God through times of prayer, singing and scripture. Every campus has a live worship team and all of the services will have the same songs.

  • When should I arrive for a service?

We recommend that you arrive at least 10–15 minutes before service starts so you have time to get a drink (coffee, tea or water) and a cookie before settling in.

If you have children and this is your first visit, you will need a few additional minutes to fill out some paperwork to help us get to know your child better. Children’s Ministry Discovery Village opens 15 minutes prior to service time. If this is your first time, you can register your child for Discovery Village by filling our registration form.

  • Do I have to give money when I visit?

You are never obligated to give. If you are new to Ada Bible, please enjoy the music, message and community. We hope that as people get involved with our church, they are led to be generous in regularly giving. You can find a giving box in the Atrium or click on our giving page to learn about the different ways you can give.

  • Who can help me answer my questions at church?

We have many people ready to help. Stop by our Welcome Center or NEXT STEPS area at any campus on the weekend. A friendly volunteer or ministry leader can answer your questions or help you find your way. You can also look for our any of our hosts wearing a tag “I’m here to help.”
